At Grandpas Cabinets, we see a lot of beautiful scale models.  We recently received several pictures of The USS Cole by Christian Del Rio.  All we can say is WOW!  Awesome work!

(The finished oak base matches well with the Insignia too!)

Martin Quinn sent us a few of his models for the Grandpa's Cabinets Gallery.  Take a look at these photos and notice the details!

The third picture features an awesome close up of the individual planes on the air craft carrier.
...You'll also notice how the model display case keeps the artword safe while still retaining the visibility Smile

We love receiving photos of our customer's model ships!  Keep your submissions coming!

Well, it's official!!  Grandpa's Cabinets has made a big move from Michigan to Florida.  We're now located in Middleburg, Florida which is just south west of Jacksonville.  My wife and I have chosen a warmer climate to spend our next season of life in and I've been working feverishly getting the workshop up and usable.  This move forced me to take a good look at the tool inventory I had accumulated over the years, and I've filtered a lot of seconds and thirds of tools I didn't realize I had.  It happens!!

So, I am officially up and operating once more, and surprisingly I've had a tremendous amount of quotes and orders since the move.  This is a very pleasant surprise as one moving usually worries that customers won't follow, but you have, and I'm very busy building.  I look forward to getting even more busy now that I'm settled so keep those quote requests coming and tell your friends and fellow model builders about me.  Thanks to all who have helped build this into a business and please get the word out there on the internet sites, Grandpa's Cabinets is ready to go once again.

Best wishes to all and thank you so much for your business.

Yep...that's right! Grandpa's Cabinets is moving to sunny Florida.  Ofcourse our online home isn't moving and we're still here ready to take your orders.

It may take a week or two to get settled before can start up production again so please keep the custom quotes coming!

We look forward to shipping from Flordia although we'll miss our pals in Michigan!  Once we get settled, I'll post some new photos of the workshop!
